Study for a working space at the location of an old barn. The building site consists of a long, tall house with a barn positioned parallel to it. The views from the house at the garden - which is west oriented - are almost completely blocked by the current barn. It also blocks the sunset. The main focus is to create a spatial working area that opens up the view from house to garden, and allows the evening sun to shine through 'till the very end. In short: transparent from east to west, but closed enough to feel covered.
