TABLE EJ - 2021
An elegant table with a strong narrative. The design of this table is inspired by the story of Erzsébet & Jonas. A hard period with a strong impact. The shape of the tabletop refers to the woman's womb, following organic and soft lines. The table legs are made of bent sheet metal. When looked at from a top view, the legs combined form the letter N or M (depending on how they are arranged). These letters are both the first letters of their two children's names. Milan lives on in the stars and is carried on forever in our hearts. Nand is blessed with lust for two and is watched over by his beloved brother.
May we find a moment of humbleness each time we have a seat at this table. May we think about how precious and fragile life is, and therefor celebrate it every single day.
